Urgent reports
If you appear in content published without your consent, or you have seen material involving someone under 18, write to [email protected] with “URGENT” in the subject line without waiting for the steps below. These reports are handled ahead of all others and the content is taken offline while we review it.
Copyright notice
If you believe your work has been published here without permission, send a notice containing:
- A description of the work you hold rights to
- The full address of the content on this site
- Your name, address, telephone number and email
- A statement that the use is not authorised by the rights holder
- A statement that the information is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them
- Your physical or electronic signature
Send notices to [email protected].
What happens next
On receiving a valid notice we take the content offline and inform the person who uploaded it. Repeat infringement leads to upload access being revoked or the account being closed.
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice explaining that the content is yours or that you have the right to publish it. The same contact details and statements are required.
Bad-faith reports
Knowingly filing a false report carries legal consequences. Accounts that repeatedly send baseless reports lose the ability to file them.
